Dewald Brevis likely to be part of South Africa’s squad for T20 World Cup
The T20 World Cup 2022 is scheduled to be held later this year in October-November in Australia. Meanwhile, international teams are actively playing T20s in order to get ready for the marquee event.
South Africa are one of the teams that is yet to win a T20 World Cup. When it comes to ICC events, they haven’t been a team that has produced masterful performances.
Meanwhile, as per the reports, Dewald Brevis is likely to be a part of Proteas’ squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup. He has been quite impressive in the IPL.
Notably, he scored 29 off 19 in his first IPL outing against KKR. After that, he scored 49 off 25 balls against PBKS. He also scored 31 off 13 balls against Lucknow Super Giants.
“I think I was born with a passion to play cricket and a love for the game, and I really want to make a difference with cricket. In my era growing up everyone knows AB de Villiers, he’s been such a role model for me from a very young age,” he told the ICC.
