Juventus chief Beppe Marotta claims that Paulo Dybala is all free to join his international teammate Messi at Camp Nou. The Argentine attacker has been linked to Barcelona for a long time now and finally the move seems to have an opening.
Heart of the matter-
Beppe Marotta claims that no club has the power to keep the player if he demands to move away.
There should be mutual understanding between player and club thus he claims that Dybala is free to sought a move away from Turin.
“The player is the one that decides his fate, and if he wants to leave, it’ll be impossible to keep him.
It’s crucial in a player-club relationship in Spain, but only Gonzalo Higuain and Miralem Pjanic had release clauses in Italy. I’m against giving clauses to our players.
The damage from Neymar’s transfer can’t be calculated that easily, and for me it goes beyond the €220m (£198m) Barca pocketed.
€90m (£75m) for Higuain? This campaign was created following Pogba’s sale and we’re delighted with Higuain. Beyond all that, he’s important to our style of play.” said the Bianconeri general manager.
Dybala himself questioned his stay at Turin as speaking to reporters he said,
“I am happy in Turin, I feel good and I’m going to train to the maximum. Am I going to stay 100 percent? I am fine here. If an offer arrives then it will firstly depend on Juventus and then on me.”
Marotta also enlightened on Juventus’s chase for 16-year-old Genoa wonderkid Pietro Pellegri which could possibly trigger the Dybala’s transfer saga.
“We’ve been following the lad for two years.
We sounded him out, but the figures back then were far lower than what they are now.
He’s among the best players of his generation, but he still has to become a champion.” added Marotta.
Dybala is in sensational form as he has already amassed 10 goals from 7 matches this season, thus his departure could be a big loss for Juventus.
With Neymar’s record breaking move to PSG, Barcelona’s chase for the Argentine attacker is very clear. If the move takes place Dybala has a great chance to flourish himself as a great player alongside his international teammate Messi.
With enough money in bank, it will be very interesting to see what heights can Barcelona reach to bring the Argentine attacker to Camp Nou next transfer window.
