Eden Hazard has been a name which is constantly linked to Real Madrid and the Chelsea man might have just played his final game at Stamford Bridge against Frankfurt.
Eden Hazard has claimed that he doesn’t think about his future at Chelsea. The Belgian has been subject to interest from Real Madrid and the player himself has expressed his desire to play for the Spanish giants. A transfer looks imminent until the English side were hit with a two-window transfer ban.
“Not thinking about it”
When asked about his future, Hazard insisted that if the Europa League final in Baku is his last game for the club, he’ll give his all. “I don’t think [about] that. I’m only thinking about trying to win something for this club,” Hazard told BT Sport .“If it’s my last game [the final] I will try to do everything. In my mind, I don’t know yet, so I will just try to win games for Chelsea.”
Willian’s message to Hazard
Hazard’s teammate, Willian, was also asked about the 28-year-old’s future. The Brazillian said he was unaware about it but hoped that Hazard decides to remain a Blue.”I don’t know, I don’t think so. For me, I hope he stays, but in football, you never know. I think his head is here, to play for Chelsea.
“Then after he’s finished the season maybe he can talk about his situation. I don’t know anything about him leaving so for me I hope he can stay. He’s very important, a special player, he’s very important for us, he helps us a lot. And he’s one of the best players in the world.”
Eden Hazard is Chelsea’s talisman. His goal contribution to the Chelsea side is the most by a single player of any Premier League team. He has carried the Blues on all by himself in the majority of the games. Losing him to Madrid will certainly be a huge blow to the club considering the transfer ban. The Chelsea fans will certainly be praying for any sort of divine intervention in keeping Hazard.
