ENG vs IND: Veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh has reacted badly to the Test match between India and England to be held in Birmingham. He has said that the Indian team has so much talent that they can win this match against England.
The rescheduled fifth test match will be played between India and England in Birmingham from July 1. The Indian team would like to win this match and win the series. However, defeating England will not be that easy either. They are coming in recently after beating New Zealand 3-0.
ENG vs IND: Indian team has a golden chance to win the series – Harbhajan Singh
On the other hand, Harbhajan Singh believes that Team India has players who can make the team win. During a conversation on Sportskeeda, he said,
“This is a great match, without a doubt. The England team under Ben Stokes is new, but they have much to prove. On the other hand, India has a golden chance to win the series in England after many years. India has the talent to win this match. If they win, then it will be a big win.”
Earlier, Harbhajan Singh also said that veteran all-rounder Hardik Pandya should have a place in the team for this Test match.
According to Harbhajan, Shardul Thakur has done a good job, but the presence of Hardik Pandya would have strengthened the team, as he is in very good form now. He said that it would have been even better if Hardik Pandya was in the team for the England Test.
Let us tell you that Hardik Pandya has not played any Test match since 2018. He has been constantly out of the team due to injuries.
When asked more about team England, he stated, “It’s a big game without a doubt. England has a new team led by Ben Stokes. But, they have a lot to prove.
On the other hand, India has a great chance to win a series in England after many years. India has the talent to win this match. It will be a big series win if they achieve it.”
The 5th and last Test match of the series between India and England, which was cancelled last year due to the Covid-19 outbreak in the Indian camp, will be played at the Edgbaston, Birmingham, from Friday, July 1.
