Erling Haaland struck from the spot in the injury time to hand Manchester City three points against Fulham in their latest Premier League fixture.
The defending Premier League champions needed to fight until the very end to get the better of Fulham, who came close to denying Manchester City a win.
Manchester City hosted Fulham at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday in a Premier League fixture and secured a 2-1 win. The Cityzens were the first side to score, with Julian Alvarez breaking the deadlock in the 16th minute of the match.
The Argentine smashed the ball past Bernd Leno and into the Fulham net via the underside of the crossbar after Ilkay Gundogan played a beautifully weighted pass.

However, Manchester City found themselves down by a man after Joao Cancelo saw a red card in the 26th minute. The Portuguese defender brought Harry Wilson down inside the Manchester City box and denied Fulham a clear goalscoring opportunity.
The referee brandished a straight red card to Cancelo, who can have no complaints. Speaking after the match, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola admitted it was a deserved red card.
Andreas Pereira stepped up to take the penalty Fulham won, and he sent Ederson the wrong way to restore parity.
Manchester City, in a bid to find the lead, brought Haaland and Phil Foden on in the 64th minute, replacing Alvarez and Jack Grealish.
Haaland thought he had given Man City the lead when he nodded home from a delicious Kevin de Bruyne cross. But VAR ruled out the goal with Haaland adjudged to have been offside, and correctly so.
But the winner would eventually come, and it came from Haaland, who has been sensational for Man City since joining the club in the summer.
Man City’s winner came in the 90+5th minute with Haaland converting from the spot. De Bruyne was fouled inside the Fulham box by Antonee Robinson and the referee awarded the home side a penalty.
Haaland found the net from the spot, although it surely was not his best penalty. He sent the ball to the right of Leno, who guessed it correctly and got a touch but could not stop it from going in.
Meanwhile, the win takes Man City to the top of the Premier League points table with 32 points from 13 matches. They have a one-point lead over second-placed Arsenal, who have played a game less and are in action on Sunday.
