George Russell, a Mercedes driver, has urged men everywhere to talk about their mental health problems. He says that there is nothing to be ‘ashamed’ of. The British speaker discussed how males frequently find it difficult to talk openly about their own mental health since they tend to hold a high regard for themselves.
George Russell, who constantly played for the Silver Arrows throughout 2022, is one of the brightest growing talents in the sport. George Russell spoke candidly about the difficulties males have when it comes to mental health in a new film for Men’s Health UK.
The British national thinks there should be more public discussions regarding mental health. Regarding the subject of men’s mental health, George Russell stated:
“As males, we take great pleasure in our physical prowess. And we attempt to overcome any obstacles by pushing through them. I believe that this is the time to attempt to reverse the trend and let people know that talking to a friend or family member, and getting professional help. Or simply having an honest dialogue about anything is nothing to be embarrassed by.”
George Russell said to The Race in an interview about his rivalry with his colleague that he would never be able to consistently outperform Lewis Hamilton. Moreover, George Russell stated:
“I won’t be able to defeat him in every practice, qualifying round, or race. That’s just not going to happen at all. However, a year like we’ve had this year is roughly comparable to what my prior 95/5 split was.”

Lewis Hamilton and George Russell of Mercedes tested new Pirelli tire compounds on February 1 and 2 at the Paul Ricard track in France in preparation for the 2023 Formula 1 season.
This comes after Pirelli and the FIA collaborated to test the 2023 compounds because they couldn’t do it during the busy 2022 race schedule.
Since the 2022 vehicles were used for the test, no new automobile innovations may be made. Pirelli has an observer on the test track to make sure of this.
Mercedes was there on the circuit on February 1 and 2 to test the 2023 compound, which is available to all teams on the grid. In the W13, Lewis Hamilton took the wheel first, followed the next day by George Russell.
Mercedes had the opportunity to test the dry compounds. AlphaTauri will get the opportunity to test the compounds in rainy conditions. In preparation for the testing session in Bahrain in late February, this will provide the drivers with a warm-up drive.
