Retire Indian cricketer and singer Guru Randhawa arrested at Mumbai club raid by the Police.
Former Indian lefty batsmen Suresh Raina and singer Guru Randhawa caught in a police raid at a club in Mumbai. Both of them arrested by the police in violation of the covid19 guidelines in the party. As it feels disappointed to see Indian stars performing such acts during such a worst situation.
Suresh Raina who missed the IPL 2020 season due to some personal reasons. Before he announced the retirement from all the formats of international cricket along with MS Dhoni. Later he was busy with his training and family.
But the news that arrives in India Today shocked all the cricket world including fans. Along with Suresh Raina and Guru Randhawa 34 more people also imprisoned by the police for overstepping the covid19 standards.
As per the news from the SR Pi Sahar Police Station officer both of them released on the bail. Hence, they will suffer from severe police cases upon them. As it will take a long period to finalize the decision on their case from the court.
Breaks the curfew order of the Maharashtra government
They all booked by the Mumbai Police because the Maharashtra government had announced the night curfew order from 11 pm to 6 am (21st December to 5 January). This raid was attended at 3 am at Dragonfly club situated near Airport.
Despite government orders, clubs remain open for the parties. So all of them arrested under Section 188 for violating the order of the public servants of the Indian Penal code (IPC). Including section 269 for negligence to act on the spread of harmful disease.
Besides these, both the prolific persons another high profile people were also present in the club. They were not arrested as they escaped from the club during the raid. Most of them were from the Punjab and Delhi.
Rapper Badshah and Sussanne Khan were also present at the club party. As report claims that 19 people from the Punjab and Delhi return to their home by the 7 am Delhi flight from the Mumbai airport. In the end, they were successful to relief from the raid.
