Fantasy Premier League GW2 deadline comes our way at 3:30 pm IST. Managers have who had a fast start in GW1 won’t be tinkering with their team. However, managers who couldn’t get some good points in GW1 will be tinkering a lot and some may have hit the wildcard button.
So, to help you out to find the best players for your squad who will help you get that green arrow. We at TMT have picked the top 11 players who can produce big points in GW2 of Fantasy Premier League. The following team will in a 3-4-3 formation to have higher chances of getting hauls from the frontline.
Here are the TMT’s top 11 picks for the GW2:-
Bernd Leno (5.0m)
Bernd Leno is our pick of the goalkeepers for the GW2. The Gunners will face West Ham United in GW2 on the home side are clear favorites. Leno will have more clean sheets this season with a better defense in front of him and he picks up bonus points every now and then. Moreover, Leno got one bonus in GW1 and can get some in GW2 as he will face more shots.
Lucas Digne (6.0m) –
Lucas Digne is one of the obvious picks for this GW as Everton welcome newly-promoted side West Brom. The French left-back kept clean and provided an assist which got him all the three bonus points. Everton has some great fixtures ahead of them and Digne becomes an important pick for a few upcoming GW’s.
Timothy Castagne (5.5m) –
After featuring in the GW1 lineup, Castagne once again makes our squad after his brilliant display at The Hawthorns. The attacking fullback appears in very attacking areas and can once again reward his owners.
Virgil Van dijk (6.5m) –
Van Dijk is our last pick for the defender’s section for this GW. Liverpool will play against Chelsea which will be an absolute cracker of a game. We picked Van Dijk due to his high goal threat from a set-piece and Chelsea’s leaky defense. Van Dijk’s threat from a set-piece was only bested by Roman Saiss in GW1 and could well get a goal against Chelsea.
Harvey Barnes (7.0m) –
Harvey Barnes was the most active player in the attacking third for Leicester City. Although Jamie Vardy scored 2 penalties, Harvey was more of a threat than any other teammate. Moreover, it looks like Barnes has been given the license to shoot as he took 5 shots in the game.
Bruno Fernandes (10.5m) (VC)–
Manchester United start off their season with a home game against Crystal Palace. Bruno Fernandes becomes our pick for vice-captain this week due to his stellar stats. In just 14 games he has had 7 goals and 8 assists to his name, which is 1 goal contribution per game. Furthermore, his duties on penalties and set-pieces make him a complete FPL asset.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (12.0m) (C) –
Aubameyang becomes our captain pick for this week after looking at his red hot form last month. Aubameyang can give a good return this week as they are facing an unsettled West Ham side. The attacker is currently 4th on the threat level and he will be most captained for 2nd week running.
Mohamed Salah (12.0m) –
Mohamed Salah is another obvious pick for our squad due to his stellar performance in GW1. Salah was the highest point scorer in GW1 with 20 points. Moreover, he took the most number of shots in GW1 and can hurt Chelsea on Sunday.
Patrick Bamford (5.6m) –
Marco Bielsa has hinted that Patrick Bamford will start GW2 ahead of Rodrigo. The striker chipped in with a goal against Liverpool and looks to score against Fulham on GW2. At 5.6m he looks the best-attacking asset and could keep on rising as the season progresses.
Gabriel Jesus (9.5m) –
Gabriel Jesus will start for Manchester City as Sergio Aguero is set to miss out due to knee injury. Jesus becomes the top differential pick for GW2 as he has ownership of only 1.9%. However, Manchester City are up against Wolves, who have a very good record against them.
Richarlison (8.0m) –
Richarlison is a striker who gets ample chances to score from different areas of the game. Against Tottenham, he took a total of 7 shots but was unfortunate to not get the goal. However, he will start scoring soon and will be a top asset from Everton.
