FC Barcelona’s kit for the season 2020-21 has already been leaked. It appears that they have gone back in the past in their first golden era.
FC Barcelona is persisting to retreat to the ancestral stripes next campaign. The new decoration is operating to be stimulated by the club’s kit from the 1919-20 season. That was almost 100 years ago wherein the traditional Blaugrana colors were worn. The shirt is going to have yellow stripes distributing them. Also, the rear of the shirt is going to be indistinguishable to its front, as claimed by the reports. The stimulus comes from the 1919-20 season. It is assumed to be the start of Barca’s initial golden age. Back then, the team’s headliner was Paulino Alcantara. The Spaniard netted 369 goals in 357 games in official and friendly matches. Thus setting a record that survived intact for 87 years.
It is also said that the club’s president Josep Maria Bartomeu has now given his permission of the design. Recently, the new kit has been exhibited to other club businesspeople. All of the sponsors’ signatures (Rakuten, Beko) and the Nike logo are going to be white. Reportedly, the sales of the new kit are going to start on May 30, 2020, which exactly after the Champions League final in Istanbul.

What do fans think about the idea?
Few fans claimed that the design that they will see for the next Barcelona shirt might have some unconventional things (neck, cuffs). However, it is established that the stripes will have that vogue. So it seems that Barca will only be going to the checkered pattern for one season. They will ultimately return to the classic stripes on the cards for 2020/21. Although, it is still a buzz but none of the administrators either from Nike or Barcelona has denied the claim. That is what makes it suspicious.
Nonetheless, we have to acknowledge that this shows to give a classic look. Barcelona is hypothesized to revert to its ancestral red and blue stripes, and a touch of yellow color affixed to the kit. For now, it is remained to see whether Barcelona will wear this color in the next campaign or not. Until then, we have to look the Blaugranas in their prevailing kits for the rest of the season.
The shirt will once again be divided into red and blue stripes, however, it will also highlight thin yellow stripes in connecting, as well as the neckband. Red and blue stripes will also separate the sleeves, while the Nike logo will be displayed in yellow. Blue shorts are supposed to achieve the assortment. Meanwhile, it was also reported that the shirt was inspired by the ones worn by Barcelona during their highly-successful 1920s period. The Spanish giants will deliver their new home kit towards the end of the prevailing season, likely in May 2020. They will also hold an away and a third kit by Nike.
