FC Barcelona news: The Catalan outfit have reached an agreement with Nico González to extend his contract at the club until 2026. González’s previous contract with Barcelona was set to expire in 2024.

A new buyout clause has been added to his contract, and it has been set at €1b.

Barcelona also confirmed the 20-year-old will head to Valencia to spend the 22/23 season on loan at the Ches.

However, the loan deal to Valencia does not include an option to buy the player after his temporary spell at the club comes to a close.
