FC Barcelona Plot Huge bid for Real Madrid Target

Both Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are interested in signing the player but it looks like the Catalans are preparing a bid that would beat the Madrid-outfit.

Defending La Liga champions FC Barcelona are preparing a bid to sign Real Madrid target and Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, reports suggest.

Paul Pogba had a turbulent season at Manchester United as the Red Devils finished succumbed to sixth place this season. Pogba was largely uninspiring for Manchester United under Jose Mourinho. It was reported that Pogba had fallen out with their then coach Mourinho.

After Manchester United sacked Mourinho and appointed Ole, Pogba revived his season as he starred in multiple fixtures for the Red Devils but as the league reached its business end, the French World Cup winner again failed to inspire United into victories.

A tumultuous season at United has left Pogba ready to leave Old Trafford in search of greener pastures, reports Daily Mail.

La Liga giants FC Barcelona and Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing the midfielder. At Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane is looking to revive the club after enduring an underwhelming campaign.

Meanwhile, FC Barcelona are ready to release their Croatian midfielder Ivan Rakitic to raise funds to sign Pogba. The Catalans are reportedly plotting a whopping £130 million bid for Pogba which would see Real Madrid lose out on the player.

There is no doubt Pogba needs to revive his career and joining either of the clubs will be a nice step to take. His inclusion will further bolster their squads and make them even more stronger.

Real Madrid are expected to spend big this summer and it remains to be seen if they have any better offer for Pogba than the one Barcelona are plotting. A serious reinforcement is must at Santiago Bernabeu if they are to fight for any serious trophies next season.

A move away from Manchester United might help Pogba revive his career. He endured an absolutely horrendous campaign this season where he failed to deliver what was expected of him.

Which team will he sign? Will he be playing for Zidane’s Madrid? or will he opt for Barcelona?
