“In China? Why not?”-Fellaini refuses to rule out move to China

After an underwhelming first three seasons at Old Trafford, Fellaini has thrived under Jose Mourinho this seasons making a total of 28 league appearances for the club.

Fellaini has just had a 12-month extension on his contract triggered at Old Trafford after emerging as a key player under Jose Mourinho.
He has proved himself by putting good performances and scoring key goals in big games, including in both the Europa League and EFL Cup semi-finals.

Refusing to rule out Move to China:

Well, one simply should never underestimate the allure of big money. Even one of the best players in the football world couldn’t resist the charm of it.

Recently, when Fellaini was asked about following the footsteps of compatriot Axel Witsel to moving to China, he couldn’t refuse to rule out the move.

“In China? Why not?” he told VTM News.

“I’m now Manchester United player, but I do not rule out such a transfer in the future.”

Fellaini explained why he has thrived under the Portuguese.

Mourinho has continued to stand by the 29-year-old throughout the past season, even when he was criticised by the home fans for conceding a penalty away at Everton.

The Belgian signed a new one-year contract at the club in January and it’s believed United have no desire to sell the midfielder.
