Kartikeya Behl From Delhi has become the first Indian to join Christian Fuchs’ E-Sports Crew.

E-Sports player from Delhi, Kartikeya Behl has become very first Indian to join former Leicester City footballer Christian Fuchs’ E-Sports Crew. Recently, ‘NoFuchsGiven’ announced the last member of their crew and it was Kartikeya Behl from Delhi. Kartikeya is hailed as one of the most promising FIFA player in the country and has come into the ranks by conquering local tournaments in India.

The Young E-Sports player has numerous honors on his name and has been topping the leader boards of top FIFA tournaments since long. To describe his E-Sports career, he is the first ever Indian to conquer an international tournament. Moreover, Kartikeya has also represented India at Asian Football Gaming Championship (AFGC) 2018 and has won PSG E-Sports Cup.

Kartikeya is set to join some top FIFA players such as
Remi Thomas, Louis Campbell and Mohamad Al-Bacha and would hope to conquer some of the biggest competitions during his reign with NoFuchsGiven.

While talking to the media, Kartikeya Behl insisted it is now necessary to raise awareness about E-Sports in India.

He started his career in FIFA back in 2009 with FIFA 8 when he was 10 years of age. ”I was a casual player till 2016. However, that changed when I heard about the tournaments being organized by Gaming Monk” insisted Kartikeya. He decided to give a try. ”I didn’t perform well. But something clicked and I realized that it was something that I could pull off and started practicing” Later he won a slew of tournaments in 2017 and his hard work was paid off.

”It was then that I heard of this tournament called Asian Football Gaming Championship (AFGC) , where a winner would get a chance to represent India at International tournament.” And he was qualified for the Championship.

Kartikeya Behl’s selection in Christian Fuchs’ E-Sports crew is a strong reflection of a surge of E-Sports sector in India. The country boasts an immense potential and it is now getting realized on an international level. Sidh Chandrana is another FIFA player who is a part of E-Sports crew- M10 team powered by the high profile footballer Mesut Ozil.
