Brazil vs Switzerland: Brazil national football team manager Tite has provided a fresh Neymar injury update ahead of their FIFA World Cup match against Switzerland.
Neymar Jr is expected to miss the remainder of Brazil’s FIFA World Cup 2022 group-stage campaign. He sustained an ankle injury during their win over Serbia in the opening match.
Brazil kicked off its FIFA World Cup 2022 campaign by cruising to a 2-0 win over Serbia. However, Brazil were dealt an injury blow when Neymar limped off the pitch with an ankle injury.
Neymar was later pictured with a swollen foot. It has since been reported that Neymar’s injury will see him miss the rest of Brazil’s group-stage games at FIFA World Cup 2022.

Brazil vs Switzerland: Tite Issues Neymar Injury Update Ahead of FIFA World Cup Match
Neymar is not the only Brazilian player injured. Danilo is also expected to miss the match against Switzerland due to an ankle problem.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of Brazil vs Switzerland match, Tite insisted that Neymar and Danilo will again play at the FIFA World Cup 2022.
“I believe both Neymar and Danilo will play again in the World Cup. I have medical reports that are on my side,” the Brazil manager said, providing an update on Danilo and Neymar’s injury.
“Both situations have improved and we believe both will be available to play. We have to live day by day. I blame myself for Neymar’s injury. I didn’t see that he was injured and he played on for 10 or 11 minutes.”
Meanwhile, the five-time FIFA World Cup winners head into Brazil vs Switzerland fixture on the back of their win against Serbia. Switzerland also comes into this fixture after defeating Cameroon 1-0 in their opening match.
Both sides will be aiming to emerge on top in this Brazil vs Switzerland fixture and secure the top spot in Group G.
