England World Cup Squad: England Have Announced the 26-Man Squad for the FIFA World Cup 2022

The 22nd edition of the FIFA World Cup is scheduled to take place in Qatar later this year between 20 November 2022 and 18 December 2022. It will be the first-ever edition of the World Cup to be held in an Arab country.

England are among the favourites to win the tournament. They will be looking to bounce back after their defeat in the final of the UEFA EURO 2020. The Three Lions recently announced their 26-men squad for the tournament.

England’s squad is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Jordan Pickford (Everton), Aaron Ramsdale (Arsenal), and Nick Pope (Newcastle).

All of Pickford, Ramsdale, and Pope are in excellent form for their respective clubs this season. Gareth Southgate will have the tough task of picking his first choice among them.

Southgate decided to exclude Joe Gomez and Fikayo Tomori from his final squad, while Reece James and Ben Chilwellmissed out with an injury. Nevertheless, the Three Lions have an excellent back-line that is capable of going up against any forward line.
