FIFA World Cup is going to be held in Qatar from 20th November. The first match between hosts Qatar and Ecuador will kick off at 9.30 pm IST. The match will take place in Al Bayt Stadium at Al Khor.
However, the final match of the upcoming Qatar World Cup 2022 will take place in the newly made Lusail Stadium on 18th December at 8.30 IST.

Al Bayt Stadium
Situated in Al Khor City, 35 Km North of Doha, Al Bayt Stadium was inaugurated last year. It has a capacity of 60000. AL Bayt will host the inaugural match of the tournament between hosts Qatar and Ecuador. Apart from that, this stadium will host four more group stage matches, one round of 16, one quarter-final, and one semi-final match.
Lusail Stadium
Situated in Lusail City, 20 Km North of Central Doha, Lusail Stadium was integrated earlier in this year. This stadium has a capacity of 80000. Arguably the best stadium in Qatar, Lusail will host the final match of the tournament on 18th December. Apart from that, Lusail will host five group stage matches, one round of 16, one quarter-final, and one semi-final match.
Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium
Inaugurated in 2020, Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium or more famously known as Al Rayyan Stadium is situated in Umm Al Afaei, 20km west of central Doha. The Stadium has a capacity of 40000. It will host five group-stage matches. One round of 16 matches will also take place here.
Al Janoub Stadium
AL Janoub Stadium is situated in Al Wakrah, 22km south of central Doha. The Stadium was opened in 2019. This stadium has the capacity to hold 40000 people. Al Janoub Stadium will host five group-stage matches. The stadium will also host 1 round of 16 match.
Al Thumama Stadium
Located 12 km South of Central Doha, Al Thumama Stadium is one of the finest in the country. This stadium has a capacity of 40000 people and it was inaugurated last year. It will host five group-stage matches. And one top of that, Al Thumama will also host 1 round of 16 and 1 quarter-final match.
Education City Stadium
Situated in Al Rayyan, 7km northwest of central Doha, Education City Stadium is one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world. This stadium was integrated in 2020 and it can hold up to 40000 people. Education City Stadium will host five groups stage matches. And on top of that, it will also host 1 round of 16 and 1 quarter-final match.
Khalifa International Stadium
Inaugurated in 1976, Khalife International Stadium is the most iconic Stadium in Qatar. Over the years, this multipurpose stadium hosted many big events such as Diamond League, FIFA Club World Cup, and Asian Games. The Stadium has a capacity of 40000 and it is located in Doha. This iconic stadium will host five group stage matches and one round of 16 matches. On top of that, it will also host the third-place decider.
Stadium 974
Located at Ras Abu Aboud, 10km east of central Doha, Stadium 974 is a temporary venue made from 974 recycled shipping containers. This is the first temporary venue in the history of FIFA World Cups. It has the capacity to hold 40000 people. Five group-stage matches will take place here. On top of that, it will also host a round of 16 matches. However, after this, the stadium will be dismantled.
