With the FIFA World Cup less than 10 days away, teams have started to announce their squads for the tournament. Serbia have also named their 26-men squad for the competition.
The Eagles finished at the top of the qualifying group after registering six of their eight games. They possess a decent team and could surprise quite a few. The European nations are in Group G alongside Brazil, Cameroon and Switzerland.
Serbia’s is as follows:
Goalkeepers: Marko Dmitrovic (Sevilla), Predrag Rajkovic (Mallorca) and Vanja Milinkovic-Savic (Torino).
Predrag Rajkovic was part of the Serbia squad that won the U20 World Cup in 2015. He won the Golden Glove during the competition and will look to replicate similar performances in Qatar.
Defenders: Stefan Mitrovic (Getafe), Nikola Milenkovic (Fiorentina), Strahinja Pavlovic (Red Bull Salzburg), Milos Veljkovic (Werder Bremen), Filip Mladenovic (Legia Warsaw), Strahinja Erakovic (Red Star Belgrade) and Srdan Babic (Almeria).
Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic has represented Serbia 37 times since making his debut in 2016. He will have the massive responsibility of marshalling the Eagles’ back line during the tournament.
Midfielders: Nemanja Gudelj (Sevilla), Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (Lazio), Sasa Lukic (Torino), Marko Grujic (Porto), Filip Kostic (Juventus), Uros Racic (Braga), Nemanja Maksimovic (Getafe), Ivan Ilic (Hellas Verona), Andrija Zivkovic (PAOK), Darko Lazovic (Hellas Verona).
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is one of the most talented midfielders of his generation. His form will be key to the European nation’s chances of qualifying for the later stages of the tournament.
Attackers: Dusan Tadic (Ajax), Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham), Dusan Vlahovic (Juventus), Filip Duricic (Sampdoria), Luka Jovic (Fiorentina, on loan from Real Madrid), Nemanja Radonjic (Torino)
Serbia possesses one of the most lethal attacking trios in international football, in Dusan Vlahovic, Aleksandar Mitrovic, and Dusan Tadic. They can strike fear into opposition defenses.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic: The Lazio midfielder has been in excellent form this season. He has registered three goals and seven assists in 13 Serie A games so far.
Dusan Vlahovic: The Juventus forward is currently among the most promising attackers in the world. He has scored six goals in 10 Serie A appearances for Juventus this season.
Dusan Tadic- The 33-year-old will be Serbia’s chief creator in Qatar. He has scored 18 goals in 90 appearances for the Eagles thus far. It is likely to be his last World Cup.
