Uruguay World Cup Squad: Uruguay Have Announced the 26-Man Squad for the FIFA World Cup 2022

The winners of the inaugural World Cup in 1930, Uruguay will be making their 14th appearance in the tournament at Qatar 2022. Uruguay are in Group H, alongside South Korea, Portugal, and Ghana.

The South American nation finished third in their qualifying group with 28 points from 18 games. They reached the quarter-finals of the competition last term and will look to get past that this term. The Sky Blues have recently announced their squad for the tournament.

Uruguay’s squad is as follows:

Goalkeepers: Fernando Muslera(Galatasaray), Sergio Rochet (Nacional) and Sebastián Sosa (Independiente).

Fernando Muslera has played 133 games for Uruguay since making his debut in 2009. He is expected to keep gloves for the South American nation in Qatar.
