Amazon Prime are set to release a documentary on Poland international and FC Barcelona attacker Robert Lewandowski at the end of March, according to a report in SPORT.
Robert Lewandowski is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world. The Polish attacker currently plies his trade for Barcelona, who he joined in the summer of 2022.
According to SPORT, Amazon Prime will release the documentary titled ‘Lewandowski unknown’ on March 31. The documentary will cover his extensive football career, from his beginnings in Poland to becoming a footballing superstar, to signing for Barcelona.
SPORT also report that Robert Lewandowski will explain in detail why he left Bayern Munich and joined FC Barcelona in the summer of 2022 in a much-talked-about transfer.

The Amazon Prime’s documentary on Robert Lewandowski will feature interviews with sports stars, his former teammates and coaches. Barcelona manager Xavi is among those who have been interviewed, according to SPORT.
The Spanish outlet also reports that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, who coached Robert Lewandowski at Borussia Dortmund, has also been interviewed.
Apart from covering Robert Lewandowski’s illustrious football career, the Amazon Prime documentary also reportedly wants to explore the most intimate and private face of the Poland international. That will reportedly cover the transformation he has had since his childhood to becoming a footballing superstar.
The documentary will also reportedly feature interviews with Robert Lewandowski’s relatives and friends, including his wife, Anna Lewandowska.
Meanwhile, Robert Lewandowski has been impressive for FC Barcelona in the ongoing 22/23 campaign. The 34-year-old has racked up 25 goals and six assists for Barcelona in 31 matches across all competitions for the Catalan outfit so far this season.
However, Lewandowski is set to miss FC Barcelona’s Copa del Rey semi-final first leg clash with fierce rivals Real Madrid after sustaining an injury towards the end of February 2023.
Barcelona will take on Real Madrid in the Copa del Rey semi-final first leg in their match. The game kicks off at 1:30 am Indian Standard Time on March 3. Barcelona heads into the El Clasico on the back of two consecutive defeats and will be aiming to return to winning ways.
