Barcelona are interested in signing Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan N’Dicka. The former France international is in the final year of his contract with the German club.
N’Dicka joined the Frankfurt outfit from AJ Auxerre in the summer transfer window of 2019. He has played 162 games (in all competitions) for the Bundesliga club so far, scoring 10 goals and registering 10 more.
The 25-year-old attacker helped the Eagles win the UEFA Europa League last season and was also part of the Bundesliga Team of the Season 2021-22.
According to German broadcaster Sport 1(via Sportskeeda), Barcelona are looking to beat Arsenal in the race to sign Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan N’Dicka. The former France youth international could be available to sign on a free transfer at the end of the current season.

Barcelona have signed several players on Bosman deals in recent years due to their financial situation. Franck Kessie, Andreas Christensen, Marcos Alonso, and Hector Bellerin have all joined the Blaugrana on free transfers before the start of the current season.

Ruben Neves closing in on joining Barcelona
According to Sport, Ruben Neves is edging closer to joining Barcelona during the summer transfer window. The Blaugrana sees the Portugal international as a long-term successor to Sergio Busquets, who is expected to leave Camp Nou at the end of the current season.
Ruben Neves has established himself as among the best defensive midfielders in the Premier League since joining Wolverhampton Wanderers from FC Porto in the summer transfer window of 2017. He has played 233 games (in all competitions) for the Wolves so far, registering 28 goals and 12 assists.

The 25-year-old midfielder is valued at €40 million by TransferMarkt. His current contract with the English club will expire at the end of next season. The Blaugrana could sign him on a cut-price deal next summer.
When will Barcelona play next?
Barcelona will play against Atletico Madrid in a La Liga game on Monday. They will then lock horns against Real Betis in the semi-final of the Supercopa de Espana on January 13.
