Carlo Ancelotti: Real Madrid manager was full of praise for Dani Ceballos, who impressed for Los Blancos in their 2-0 win over Valencia in a La Liga fixture.
Dani Ceballos has been impressive for Real Madrid in recent games and it was once again the case as the defending La Liga champions coasted past Valencia to earn three points from the fixture.
Dani Ceballos started for Real Madrid against Valencia and featured throughout as Carlo Ancelotti’s men secured a 2-0 win. After a goalless first half, two goals within two second-half minutes earned Real Madrid the victory against Valencia.
Marco Asensio gave Real Madrid the lead in the 52nd minute of the match with an absolute stunner of a goal. Vinicius Jr then made it 2-0 two minutes later. Real Madrid then comfortably saw off the game against Valencia, who were reduced to 10 men in 72 minutes.

Dani Ceballos and Real Madrid have to work out the contract renewal, says Carlo Ancelotti

Speaking after the match, Carlo Ancelotti was full of praise for Dani Ceballos, who once again delivered a good display.
Carlo Ancelotti also indicated he wants Dani Ceballos to stay at the club as he said that the Spanish midfielder will be important for the club if he carries on like he has been doing in recent matches.
He also said Real Madrid and Dani Ceballos have to work out the contract renewal as the midfielder has less than six months left on his current deal with Real Madrid. Dani Ceballos’ current contract with the Spanish behemoths is due to expire at the end of June.
“He’s playing very well and everyone can see that. Ceballos and the club have to work out the contract renewal. Everyone knows what I think and I think that if Ceballos carries on like this he will be very important,” Carlo Ancelotti said.
Dani Ceballos has featured in 20 games across all competitions for Real Madrid so far in the 22/23 season. He also has a goal and three assists to his name in the ongoing campaign.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid moved to within five points of FC Barcelona with their win over Valencia. Real Madrid have 45 points from 19 matches, while Barcelona tops the table with 50 points.
