Carlo Ancelotti remained coy when asked about the possibility of Real Madrid signing Paris Saint-Germain attacker Kylian Mbappe.
Kylian Mbappe has once again been linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain, the club he signed a contract extension till 2022. Real Madrid have been mooted as a potential destination for the Frenchman.
Real Madrid were interested in acquiring the services of the highly-rated France international in 2022. But Kylian Mbappe eventually decided to snub a move to Real Madrid and instead chose to extend his contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
But with Paris Saint-Germain knocked out of the Champions League at the round of 16 stage as the European success once again eluded the French heavyweights, Kylian Mbappe’s future at the club is far from certain.

When asked about the possibility of Real Madrid signing Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain, Carlo Ancelotti insisted that he would never answer that question.
“Would I like to sign Mbappé? Ask me today, you can ask also in two weeks or three months — I will never answer this question,” Carlo Ancelotti said ahead of Real Madrid’s La Liga match against Espanyol.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid currently trails Barcelona in the race for the La Liga title. Carlo Ancelotti and co. will be aiming for nothing less than all three points when they take on Espanyol in their upcoming match.
Real Madrid risks falling further behind Barcelona in the race to become the Spanish league champions if they drop more points in the Spanish top flight. Barcelona currently enjoys a nine-point lead over Real Madrid in La Liga.
Barcelona, who sit atop the La Liga table, have 62 points from 24 matches so far in the current campaign. Real Madrid, meanwhile, have 53 points from 24 matches in the Spanish top flight so far in the 22/23 season.
Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe has been impressive for Paris Saint-Germain in the ongoing campaign although he drew blank in their Champions League round of 16 tie with Bayern Munich.
The France international has racked up 30 and eight assists in 31 matches across all competitions for PSG so far this season. 18 of his goals have come in the Ligue 1, where PSG leads the race to win the title.
