Casemiro: Former Rangers manager Ally McCoist believes Casemiro has to start for Manchester United when the Red Devils take on Crystal Palace in their next Premier League game.
Casemiro will miss Manchester United’s match against Arsenal in the Premier League this weekend if he picks up a yellow card in the Old Trafford outfit’s clash with Crystal Palace mid-week.
Casemiro, who joined Manchester United in the summer transfer window, has already got four yellow cards in the Premier League so far this season. The Brazilian international will have to serve a one-game ban if and when he picks up his next yellow card in the Premier League this season.
Should that happen against Crystal Palace, Casemiro will not be available for Erik ten Hag and co. when they travel to the Emirates Stadium to square off with table-toppers Arsenal.

Ally McCoist believes Manchester United must start Casemiro vs Crystal Palace
Despite being at risk of missing Manchester United’s clash with Arsenal, Ally McCoist believes Casemiro must start for the Red Devils when they face Crystal Palace.
“You’ve got to, absolutely you’ve got to,” Ally McCoist said when asked if Casemiro should start vs Crystal Palace. “Yeah you’ve got to risk it, you’ve got to play him. You’ve got to play your best team right now and then deal with whatever happens.
“The most important game is the next one and if they win tonight dear me, what a run they’re on since that defeat to City in the league.
“I don’t think it’s up for debate. You’ve got to play him, assuming he’s fit obviously.”
Like Casemiro, his compatriot and Manchester United teammate Fred has also picked up four yellow cards in the Premier League this season. Fred will also miss the game against Arsenal if he gets a yellow card in the game against Crystal Palace.
Meanwhile, Manchester United go into the game against Crystal Palace on the back of their 2-1 win over Manchester City. The Red Devils are currently on an impressive run of form. They are now on a nine-game winning streak and will be aiming to make it 10 when they face Crystal Palace.
Crystal Palace, on the other hand, have earned just three points from their last five games in the Premier League. The match between Manchester United and Crystal Palace kicks off at 1:30 am Indian Standard Time, on January 19.
