Al-Nassr manager Rudi Garcia has claimed that Cristiano Ronaldo will return to Europe before retiring from professional football.
Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Al-Nassr on a two-and-a-half-year contract that makes him the highest-paid footballer in the world. The Portuguese superstar signed for the Saudi Arabian outfit after terminating his contract with Manchester United.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United parted ways by mutual consent in November last year following the 37-year-old’s explosive interview with Piers Morgan. Ronaldo hit out at Erik ten Hag and Manchester United in the interview which saw him effectively burn bridges with the Old Trafford outfit.
Cristiano Ronaldo re-joined Manchester United in the summer of 2021. He had a contract until 2023 with an option for a further year, but his stay at Manchester United was cut short.

Cristiano Ronaldo will not finish his career at Al-Nassr, claims Rudi Garcia

Rudi Garcia, who is the manager of Al-Nassr, has admitted that Cristiano Ronaldo will not end his career at the Saudi Arabian outfit and that the Portuguese superstar will return to Europe before hanging up his boots.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is a positive addition, as he helps to disperse defenders. He is one of the best players in the world. He will not finish his career at Al-Nassr, he will return to Europe,” Rudi Garcia said.
Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo has so far featured in two games for Al-Nassr since his move to the Saudi Arabian club. However, he has not yet opened his account for Al-Nassr as he drew blank in both fixtures.
His debut for Al-Nassr came in their 1-0 win over Al-Ettifaq in the Saudi Pro League. Despite Ronaldo failing to find the net, Talisca’s goal earned Al-Nassr three points from the fixture.

Ronaldo will be aiming to get his first goal for Al-Nassr as soon as possible and hit the ground running at his new club.
Al-Nassr will face Al Fateh in the Saudi Pro League in their next game. The match between Al-Nassr and Al Fateh kicks off at 8:30 pm Indian Standard Time on February 3.
