Dani Ceballos has rejected offers from Premier League clubs as the Spanish midfielder hopes to extend his stay at Real Madrid beyond the end of the 22/23 season, according to a report in Marca.
The 26-year-old has entered the final six months of his current Real Madrid contract. His current deal with Real Madrid is due to expire at the end of June.
Dani Ceballos, who has been impressive for Real Madrid in their recent games, is aiming to earn himself a new contract at the Spanish club.
Marca also reports that Real Madrid are debating whether to hand him a new contract extension. The report also claims that the powers that be at Real Madrid did not previously have Dani Ceballos in their plans for the next season.

Dani Ceballos wants to stay at Real Madrid beyond the end of the 22/23 season

Since Dani Ceballos has entered the final six months of his current Real Madrid contract, he is free to talk with clubs outside of Spain over a transfer. However, the Spanish midfielder wants to continue at Real Madrid beyond the end of the current campaign.
Marca also reports that Real Madrid’s directors were previously keen to part ways with Dani Ceballos in the summer, but their stance seems to have softened after his recent performances for the defending La Liga champions.
Dani Ceballos starred for Real Madrid in their stunning comeback win over Villarreal in the Copa del Rey. He came off the bench when Real Madrid were trailing the game by two goals and then registered a goal and an assist as Los Blancos won the game 3-2.
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has already indicated he would like to retain the services of Dani Ceballos, labelling the midfielder as an ‘untouchable’.
Ceballos, however, has only had limited game time at Real Madrid in the current campaign. The Spaniard has only had 603 minutes of action across 18 matches for Real Madrid in the ongoing season.
However, after his heroics for Real Madrid against Villarreal, Carlo Ancelotti started Dani Ceballos in their 2-0 win over Athletic Club. He also came off the bench and provided an assist as Real Madrid defeated Atletico Madrid 3-1 in the Copa del Rey quarter-final.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid, who sit second in the La Liga points table, will face Real Sociedad in their next match in the Spanish top-flight.
