Former winger Joe Cole wants Chelsea to sign Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez following his excellent FIFA World Cup 2022 campaign with Argentina. The 30-year stop-stopper won the Golden Glove in Qatar after keeping three clean sheets in seven appearances.
He has also been a consistent performer since joining Aston Villa from Arsenal in the summer window of 2020. Emiliano Martinez has played 91 games(in all competitions) for the Birmingham outfit so far, securing 30 clean sheets. His stock has increased significantly after his heroic performances for Argentina in Qatar.
Former Chelsea winger, Joe Cole has urged the Blues to table a bid for Aston Villa midfielder Joe Cole. He told All to Play For podcast: “I watched him, he didn’t have that many shots to face because they were so good in front of him, but you know what he is good at? Crossing, commanding, and you know he’s connected to his back four.”
“In the big moments, he delivered. If I’m Chelsea I am tabling a bid for him now. I think he was outstanding.”

Graham Potter could enter the transfer market for a new goalkeeper after Édouard Mendy rejected Chelsea’s new contract offer earlier week. The Senegal international is reportedly unhappy with the wages offered and wants to double his £100,000-a-week deal. He wants parity with Kepa Arrizabalaga who earns almost twice that sum.
Cesc Fabregas urges Chelsea to sign Dani Olmo
Former Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has urged the London outfit to sign RB Leipzig attacker Dani Olmo.
On his social media account, a fan asked him about which current Spanish player he would sign for the Blues. He responded: “Dani Olmo could be a great addition if Chelsea continues to play in this system.”
Olmo was part of Spain’s squad during the FIFA World Cup 2022. He played four games in Qatar, registering one goal and one assist. The former Barcelona youngster has impressed with his performances since joining RB Leipzig from Dinamo Zagreb in the summer transfer window of 2020.
He has played 106 games(in all competitions) for the Red Bulls so far, registering 19 goals and 22 assists. Olmo helped the Leipzig outfit win the DFB-Pokal last season.

Chelsea have already reached an agreement with RB Leipzig to sign Christopher Nkunku next summer. The Blues could raid the German club again to further bolster their forward line.
