Former winger Joe Cole wants Chelsea to sign Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez following his excellent FIFA World Cup 2022 campaign with Argentina. The 30-year stop-stopper won the Golden Glove in Qatar after keeping three clean sheets in seven appearances.

He has also been a consistent performer since joining Aston Villa from Arsenal in the summer window of 2020.
