Cleiton Silva, the energetic new forward for East Bengal FC, is sure that the team is improving in camp despite the results of their matches. He has complete confidence that the hard work the players put in during practice will pay off for them when they compete.
According to Silva, the senior players do need the support of the younger ones, and there is still time to make things right despite the current state of affairs. Silva is determined to take on a leadership role.
Before the game against his former team, Bengaluru FC, he lauded the opposition’s individual qualities while also identifying their weaknesses in preparation for the match. The Brazilian forward gave an exclusive chat to East Bengal FC as he gets ready to lead the line against his former team on Friday.

The plan has proven to be successful. Even if the results are fantastic, there are still a few areas in which we can make significant strides forward. Due to the fact that the team performs so well in practise, there will be times when our behaviour during a game will need to reflect that which we exhibit during practise. We are going to have to have faith in our training in order to do well in the actual world.
As a leader, what do you consider to be the benefits of our camping location? There is still time to find solutions to the issues. We still have a large number of young players who haven’t competed in a significant number of Hero ISL matches.
Your production will see a minor increase as soon as they begin to play more games and gain more experience. Even the more experienced players are going to need to support the younger players right now if we are going to be successful.
What do you think about Bengaluru FC as a team? They, like us, have qualities that make them both wonderful and dreadful. Bengaluru FC has a number of great players, but it’s possible that they currently suffer from the same issues that we do.
What are your thoughts before you have to deal with them on Friday?

However, they are a capable group, and we have no choice but to treat them seriously if we are to prevail against them. Even though they are playing at home, the BFC’s current situation isn’t shaping up to be very favorable.
We need to continue to play with the same level of bravery and aggression as we exhibited in the previous game. You are probably already familiar with the majority of Bengaluru FC’s players. What are your thoughts before you have to deal with them on Friday?
As I indicated before, they have a number of strong individuals among their ranks. Because they have Sunil Chhetri, Leon Augustine, and Roy Krishna, who is one of the top scorers in the league, we have no choice but to take them into consideration.
However, before we do anything else, we need to think about the whole strategy and not just how to deal with players one-on-one. Because we can’t afford to lose these three points and they have talented players, we have no choice but to remain optimistic and do our best in order to come out on top.
