Bengaluru FC is scheduled to play East Bengal FC on Thursday at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru during matchweek 6 of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL). Forward Roy Krishna believes his team is rested and focused after their two-week break and that they now need to step up as a team to find the solution to winning games.
As the team will be playing in front of their home audience for the first time in a considerable amount of time on Friday, Krishna shared that the group feels optimistic about their chances of achieving a successful outcome in the match. He went on to say that there are no valid explanations for the team’s poor performance in the most recent games.
The attacker gave a statement to the media during the pre-match news conference that took place prior to the game versus East Bengal FC. These are some excerpts from Krishna’s news conference, Does the lack of goals make you feel uncomfortable as well? Does it put you under extra stress?
There is no need to hurry. As was mentioned by the trainer, I believe that all that is required of us as a team is to concentrate in order to find the appropriate moment to pass and enter the box.
ISL 2022-23: It Was a Challenging Week of Games on the Road

This week is full of upbeat energy, and it’s quite evident that the boys are looking forward with great anticipation to their game on Friday. It is my opinion that, as a team, we should immediately get to our feet and start attacking rather than sit back and wait for the other team to score first.
No justifications necessary; it was a challenging week of games on the road, but now that we’re back in front of the home fans, we need their encouragement. Although you’ve been a part of the league for some time, the postseason will operate in a different fashion beginning with this season.
Does this make it somewhat simpler for the teams to get along with one another before they start performing in the middle and near the end of the competition? No. I think it would be best if we started with the first game, as the two we just played were rather frustrating, despite the fact that we played well; we just didn’t achieve the result we wanted.
Now is the time for us to concentrate solely on getting a good start within ourselves. This is a good opportunity for us after we’ve played three games away from home, but we won’t take it lying down since it’s one of the top six and we have a chance.

Clearly, we have some very talented players on our squad, but in order to get back to where we were before, we are going to have to put in a lot of effort. We worked incredibly hard and tried to maintain a positive attitude during our training sessions, thanks to the direction of our coach.
Therefore, we can use that information for the match on Friday. What kind of results did the team training session with Sivasakthi Narayanan produce? In what ways do you anticipate that he will improve as a player?
He possesses a lot of skills. I have the impression that he puts in a lot of effort and is attentive, both of which are crucial qualities for a young striker who has a lot of energy. When other players like Sunil Chhetri or I speak to him, he pays heed to what we say.
He only needs to keep his cool, keep his mouth shut, and refrain from monitoring his social media accounts on an obsessive basis. He is a good person and is quickly becoming one of the most promising football players in India.
