Arsenal have agreed transfer fee on a deal to sign Chelsea midfielder Jorginho on the 2023 January transfer window deadline day, according to reports.
The Gunners have been looking for a midfielder to reinforce their squad before the January transfer window closes as they aim to win the Premier League 22/23 title.
Arsenal were interested in the services of Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo, who has also attracted transfer interest from Chelsea. However, Arsenal’s bids for Moises Caicedo were turned down by Brighton, who want to keep the 21-year-old at the club beyond the end of the January transfer window.
Brighton’s reluctance to part ways with Moises Caicedo has seen Arsenal turn their attention to Jorginho, who is due to be out of contract at the end of June this year.
