He joined the Reds from Fulham during last summer’s transfer window. Fabio Carvalho started his career at Anfield brightly and enjoyed several opportunities to impress during the opening months of the season. He has played 18 games(in all competitions) for Liverpool so far, registering three goals.
However, he has fallen down the pecking order after the Reds’ defeat against Nottingham Forest in October. He has played just three minutes of first-team football since then.

“Should we have seen more of Carvalho reds? Why do you think (Jurgen) Klopp hasn’t called him up more? For me, he has to go on loan next season and get some Premier League experience.”
Jose Enrique spent five seasons at Anfield between 2011 and 2016. He played 99 games for the Reds, registering two goals and 10 assists in the process. The former Spain youth international was part of Liverpool’s squad that lifted the Football League Cup during the 2011-12 season.
Liverpool interested in Nico Williams
According to Spanish outlet AS, Liverpool are keeping tabs on Athletic Bilbao attacker Nico Williams. Aston Villa are another Premier League club that is showing interest in signing the Spaniard.
However, the Spanish outfit are likely to demand a massive transfer fee to sell their prized assets. Liverpool are unlikely to pursue the deal as they have already signed Cody Gakpo to bolster their forward line during the January window.
Williams has established himself as among the most promising attackers in Europe since breaking into Bilbao’s senior team last season. He has played 67 games(in all competitions) for the Basque outfit so far, scoring nine goals and assisting seven more. The 20-year-old attacker was also part of Spain’s FIFA World Cup 2022. He featured in four games in Qatar.
When will Liverpool play next?
Liverpool are currently 10th in the Premier League table, with 29 points from 20 games. They will next lock horns against city-rivals Everton in a league game at Anfield on February 14th.
