Jurgen Klopp Liverpool manager has said he does not think that the Reds will make further signings during the January transfer window.
The Merseyside outfit have already made one signing in the January transfer window. Liverpool signed Netherlands national football team attacker Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven to bolster their attacking department.
The Reds have signed Cody Gakpo for an initial £37m and the 23-year-old has already made his debut for Liverpool. Cody Gakpo was also linked with a move to Manchester United but it was Liverpool who acquired the services of the former PSV Eindhoven attacker.
Speaking at a press conference ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Brighton & Hove Albion in a Premier League fixture, Jurgen Klopp admitted the Reds are unlikely to make more signings in the January transfer window.

Jurgen Klopp on whether Liverpool will make more signings in the January transfer window

Speaking at a press conference, Jurgen Klopp said that they ‘think they don’t need anyone’.
“I’ve had 6,000 press conferences at Liverpool, I have to tell you again the money story?” Jurgen Klopp said.
“Why could it be the reason we have money like crazy and we still don’t buy players? You know the answer. It’s not that we have so much money we don’t know what to do with it, but we think we don’t need anyone.“
Jurgen Klopp also said that Liverpool cannot solve all its problems in the January transfer window.

“I don’t think [there will be more signings]. I talk about it because you ask but my job is to use the boys we have. No problem. I like the teams who line up,” Jurgen Klopp said.
“You cannot solve all your problems in the transfer window. In a dreamland, you would just buy players and bring them in – but I don’t see that happening. Injuries are the big shadow over all of us.”
Meanwhile, the match between Liverpool and Brighton kicks off at 8:30 pm Indian Standard Time. Jurgen Klopp and co. will be aiming to get the better of Brighton and move up to sixth in the points table. Liverpool currently sits seventh in the points table.
The Reds, meanwhile, will slip to eighth if it is Brighton who secures all three points from their Premier League fixture against Liverpool.
