Juventus are interested in signing Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount. Mount is among the most talented midfielders of his generation.
He has been a consistent performer for the Blues since breaking into the senior team during the 2019-20 season. Mount has played 181 games (in all competitions) for the London outfit so far, registering 32 goals and 37 assists. The 23-year-old midfielder has helped the Blues win the UEFA Champions League title and one UEFA Super Cup among other honours.
He won the Chelsea Player of the Season accolade twice and was also included in the UEFA Champions League Team of the Season 2021-22. Mount is also a vital member of the England squad. He has scored five goals for his country in 35 appearances since making his debut in 2019.
Chelsea’s Mason Mount linked with a Juventus move
According to the Sun(football.london), Juventus are lining up a move to sign Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount. The England international will enter the final year of his contract at Stamford Bridge at the end of the current season.

Chelsea are interested in extending his stay but talks over a new deal have stalled in recent months. If the Blues fail to renew his deal, they might decide to cash in for him next summer as opposed to losing him for free in 2024.
Juventus are among the clubs who have registered their interest in signing the English midfielder. The Serie A side have failed to win the Serie A title in the last two seasons. They are expected to have a major squad overhaul in the upcoming transfer windows
Apart from Juventus, Liverpool have also shown interest in signing Mason Mount. The Reds consider him a potential alternative to Jude Bellingham, whose valuation has increased significantly in recent months.
Mason Mount breaks his silence on his future
While speaking to the media last month, Mason Mount responded to reports that suggested a move away from Stamford Bridge.

He said: “I have always been so focused on my football since I was in the academy. I know now there is a lot more media focus on me, but I do not look too much into that. I block it out.”
Mason Mount struggled to make a desired impact at the ongoing FIFA World Cup 2022. He has played four games for the England World Cup squad during the tournament, failing to register a single goal or an assist.
