Kylian Mbappe has become PSG’s all-time top goalscorer after he scored a goal for the French heavyweights in their most recent fixture.
PSG, who are the defending Ligue 1 champions, took on Nantes in the French top flight in their most recent fixture and secured a 4-2 win. Kylian Mbappe scored in the 90+2nd minute to seal PSG’s win.
It was Lionel Messi who opened the scoring in this PSG vs Nantes fixture. The Argentine sent PSG ahead in the 12th minute before they doubled their lead through Jaouen Hadjam’s own goal in the 17th minute.
Nantes, however, clawed their way back into the game with goals in the 31st and 38th minutes. Danilo Pereira sent PSG ahead on the hour mark before Kylian Mbappe scored their fourth goal in injury time.

That makes him the all-time top goalscorer of PSG. The Frenchman has overtaken Edinson Cavani, who scored 200 goals for PSG during his stint at the French club.
Kylian Mbappe has now moved one goal ahead of the Uruguayan when it comes to the number of goals scored for Paris Saint-Germain. Mbappe has achieved the feat in just 247 games for Paris Saint-Germain. Edinson Cavani, meanwhile, took 301 matches to reach 200 goals for PSG.
Kylian Mbappe has also been impressive for PSG in the current campaign. The Frenchman has already racked up 30 goals and seven assists for PSG in 30 games across all competitions so far this season.
Meanwhile, PSG now have an 11-point lead at the top of the Ligue 1 points table. They have 63 points from 26 matches in the French top flight so far this season. Sitting second in the Ligue 1 table are Marseille, who have 52 points from 25 matches.
PSG will now turn their attention to the UEFA Champions League round of 16 second-leg clash with Bayern Munich. The German side won the first leg 1-0, so PSG have to turn the tie around in the second leg to progress to the quarter-final of the tournament.
