The 672 goals he scored for Barcelona and the 28 he has so far scored for PSG take his club goal tally to 700. He has now joined Cristiano Ronaldo on the list of players with 700 club goals. Ronaldo managed the feat earlier this season when he was still playing for Manchester United.
Lionel Messi is now only nine goals behind Cristiano Ronaldo’s total club goals. The Portuguese superstar has so far scored 709 goals in his illustrious club career. 701 of those have come when was he playing for European clubs. Messi could match the number of goals Cristiano Ronaldo has scored at the club level in European football if he adds another goal to his tally.
