SPORT also reports that Lionel Messi looks to compete in European football, which indicates the Argentine is unlikely to join Major League Soccer or Saudi Pro League sides at this point.
Lionel Messi could also extend his stay at Paris Saint-Germain, whose sporting director Luis Campos recently admitted they want to retain the services of the Argentine superstar. Xavi has, meanwhile, left the doors open for a Barcelona return for Messi.
Meanwhile, Lionel Messi has been impressive for Paris Saint-Germain in the 22/23 campaign. The Argentine had endured a rather underwhelming 21/22 season with PSG, but he has looked back to his best in the ongoing campaign.
Messi has racked up 17 goals and 16 assists for Paris Saint-Germain in 28 matches across all competitions this season. He has been a key player for PSG in the current campaign.
