Liverpool are interested in signing AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer. The Algeria international has established himself among the best midfielders in the Serie A since joining the Rossoneri from Empoli during the summer transfer window of 2019.
He has played 126 games for the Milan outfit so far, registering four goals and eight assists. Ismael Bennacer helped the Rossoneri win the Serie A title last season. The 25-year-old midfielder is also a key member of the Algeria national team. Bennacer has represented his country 40 times since making his debut in 2016.
According to Relevo (h/t The Hard Tackle), Liverpool are keen to sign AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer. The Algeria international’s current contract at the San Siro will expire at the end of the next season.
AC Milan are keen to extend his stay and have had meetings with his representatives in recent weeks. But nothing has been signed yet. The Rossoneri could look to cash in for him next summer as opposed to letting him leave on a free transfer in 2024.

Steve Nicol urges Liverpool to sign Soyfan Amrabat
Former Liverpool defender Steve Nicol has urged the Reds to sign Fiorentina midfielder Soyfan Amrabat. Speaking to the media, he said: “Definitely Amrabat. Thinking of Liverpool at their best – winning the Premier League, winning the Champions League – they had three players in the middle of the park.
Who just physically outran, outfought, out beasted anyone that was put in front of them. If there was a beast at the World Cup, it was this guy. He caught Mbappe.”
Soyfan Amrabat has impressed with his performances for Morocco during the recently concluded FIFA World Cup 2022. He played seven games during the competition, registering 2.3 tackles, 0.9 interceptions, and 1.4 clearances per 90 minutes.
