Luka Modric does not even contemplate leaving Real Madrid with the Croatian midfielder now in the final six months of his current contract with Los Blancos.
The veteran midfielder has been a key player for Real Madrid, but his current deal with the Spanish behemoths is due to expire at the end of June 2023. He has not yet signed a contract extension offer, but it appears he would very much love to.
According to Fabrizio Romano [via Madrid Universal], Luka Modric is completely in love with Real Madrid and is not even considering leaving the defending La Liga champions in the upcoming summer.
It remains to be seen if Real Madrid will table a contract extension proposal to the Croatian midfielder, who has been plying his trade for Los Blancos ever since joining the club in the summer of 2012.

Luka Modric has featured in 27 games for Real Madrid so far in the 22/23 season

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has previously labelled Luka Modric as ‘untouchable’, which indicates the high regard in which the Italian tactician and the club consider the midfielder.
He has featured in 27 games across all competitions for Real Madrid so far this season. 19 of those have come in La Liga, where Real Madrid has so far featured in 20 games in the 22/23 season.
Luka Modric started in 13 of those 19 games and came off the bench in the other six matches. However, he has been far from his best since returning to Real Madrid after the winter break.
He has only started in four matches for Real Madrid ever since the resumption of club football action after the end of the winter break. His other appearances were off the bench.
Meanwhile, Luka Modric has also been linked with a move away from Real Madrid at the end of the season, with clubs from MLS and Saudi Arabia reportedly interested in the services of the midfielder. However, he has reportedly turned down those proposals as he wants to stay at Real Madrid.
Meanwhile, he will now be aiming to help his side as win as many titles as they could in the remainder of the 22/23 season. They are now in Morocco to play in the FIFA Club World Cup and Luka Modric is part of the Real Madrid squad announced for their semi-final clash with Al-Ahly.
