Marcus Rashford: Manchester United are confident they will reach an agreement with Marcus Rashford over a new contract that would extend his stay at the club beyond the expiry of the current deal.
Marcus Rashford has been impressive for Manchester United in the 22/23 season, with the England international a key player for manager Erik ten Hag. The English attacker, who endured a rather disappointing 21/22 season, has already scored more goals this season than he managed during the entirety of the previous season.
The 25-year-old has featured in 26 matches across all competitions for the Old Trafford outfit so far this season. He has also racked up 16 goals and amassed five assists for the Red Devils in those appearances.
Marcus Rashford’s contract with Manchester United was due to expire at the end of the 2022/23 season. But the Red Devils triggered a one-year extension option in his contract. That means Rashford’s current deal with Manchester United runs until 2024.
