Manchester City are interested in signing Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka. The 21-year-old is considered among the most talented attackers in Europe.
Bukayo Saka enjoyed a breakthrough 2019-20 season with the Gunners and has been a key member of the squad since. He has played 111 Premier League games for the London outfit so far, registering 21 goals and 21 assists. Saka helped the Gunners win the 2019-20’s FA Cup and also won the Arsenal Player of the Season twice.
The Ealing-born attacker is also a key member of the England squad. He has scored seven goals in 24 appearances for the Three Lions since making his debut in 2020. Bukayo Saka won the England Men’s Player of the Year 2021-22.
Saka was among England’s top performers during the FIFA World Cup 2022.

According to 90min(h/t Sportskeeda), Manchester City are ready to step up their interest to sign Arsenal attacker Bukayo Saka. Pep Guardiola is a huge admirer of the England international and is keen to add him to his roster.
He sees Bukayo Saka as a long-term replacement for Riyad Mahrez, who will turn 32 next February. Saka’s current contract at the Emirates Stadium will expire at the end of next season.
The Gunners are trying to tie him down to a new deal but talks have not made any progress in recent months. Arsenal could look to cash in for him next summer if they fail to pursue him to sign a new contract. Liverpool have also shown interest in securing the services of the English winger in recent months.
What did Mikel Arteta say about Bukayo Saka’s future?
Speaking to the media in October, Mikel Arteta hinted that the Gunners are working on renewing the contracts of Bukayo Saka, William Saliba, and Gabriel Martinelli.
He said: “We have to plan for the future. We are all working on it, I will try to do things in the right way, being fair and trying to plan the best possible way, and reward the players that, in our opinion, have a big future for the club When we have something to announce, we’ll do that.”
