Atletico Madrid are open to selling attacker Joao Felix. The Portugal international is currently among the most talented attackers in Spanish La Liga.
He has been a key player in the Madrid outfit squad since joining from Benfica in the summer transfer window of 2019. Felix has played 129 games for Athletico thus far, scoring 33 goals and assisting 18 more.
The Portuguese helped the Colchoneros win the La Liga title during the 2020-21 season. He won the Atletico Madrid Player of the Season 2021-21 and was also included in the La Liga Team of the Season last term.
Felix enjoyed a decent FIFA World Cup 2022 campaign with Portugal. He registered one goal and two assists in four appearances in Qatar.

According to Rob Dawson, Manchester United have been alerted by the availability of Atletico Madrid forward Joao Felix.
The Madrid outfit CEO Miguel Angel Gil Marin recently revealed that the club is looking to sell the Portugal international in January. Gil said: “I think he can play at the highest level in the world, but for reasons that are not worth saying now, the relationship between the coach and him is not good. Neither is his motivation. The reasonable thing is to think that he will leave. Although I would love him to stay here, he doesn’t want to remain at the club.”
Joao Felix’s relationship with manager Diego Simeone has soured in recent months. The Golden Boy 2019 winner has started just five games in the league this term.
Manchester United will look to sign a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo during the January transfer window. The Portugal international has clashed with the Red Devils manager Erik ten Hag and the board in recent months, which resulted in the termination of his contract in November.
The Manchester outfit are monitoring Felix to replace Ronaldo. However, Atletico Madrid values him at around €100 million. It remains to be seen if Ten Hag is willing to pay that sort of sum to sign him. Meanwhile, Arsenal, Chelsea, Juventus, and Paris Saint-Germain have also shown interest in signing the 23-year-old attacker recently.
