Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has revealed the reason behind his new celebration. The England international has been in brilliant form this season.
He has registered 14 goals and three assists in 24 Premier League games so far this term. Marcus Rashford also scored four goals in five UEFA Europa League outings. His form will be key as the Reds Devils look to finish in the top four this season.
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand revealed that he recently had a private conversation with forward Marcus Rashford at the club’s training ground about his new goal celebration.

While speaking to the media recently, Rio Ferdinand said: “But the celebration, it’s the mentality. Nice, innit. Simple. But it’s just travelled massively. Everyone around the world is doing it now. All the young kids scoring goals, that’s the impact Rashford has had.”
According to a report by Italian journalist Paolo Bargigga, Manchester United are interested in signing Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen. The Nigeria international is currently among the most sought-after attackers in Europe.
He has been Napoli’s star performer as they look to win the Serie A title this season. The 24-year-old attacker has scored 18 goals in 19 league games so far.
Victor Osimhen is valued at around €120 million. He is expected to leave the Naples outfit at the end of the current season. Paris Saint-Germain are another club who have shown interest in signing him in recent weeks. Erik ten Hag has a battle on his hands to snap him up next summer.
Bargigga said: “It is still February, anything can happen. I think that a real auction could be unleashed on Victor Osimhem in the upcoming weeks. The player’s valuation stands at €120m, but it could increase again if he continues to do so well. Chances are high he’ll go away.”

Manchester United are currently third in the Premier League table, with 49 points from 24 games. They will next play against Newcastle United at Wembley Stadium in the final of the EFL Cup on February 26. Marcus Rashford is likely to play a key role in the game.
