Manchester United players were pictured arriving at Carrington on Monday, hours after they slumped to a heavy defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
Manchester United, who have been largely impressive this season, suffered their heaviest defeat of the campaign as Liverpool trounced the Red Devils 7-0 in a Premier League fixture.
The Red Devils conceded their first goal of the match in the 43rd minute and that was the only goal of the first half. But, in a disastrous second half, the Red Devils conceded six goals as Liverpool inflicted a humiliating defeat on their arch-rivals.
Speaking after the match, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag described their performance in the second half as ‘unprofessional’ and admitted that his players lost their heads during the humble.

According to Manchester Evening News, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag had already been at Carrington for nearly two hours before the players arrived.
The English outlet also reports that Man Utd players were already scheduled to report at 9 am on Monday for recovery sessions and a morning training session even before what happened at Anfield.
Manchester United had gone into the game against Liverpool on the back of four consecutive wins. But that did not count for anything as Liverpool ripped the Red Devils apart.
Man Utd will be aiming to return to winning ways soon, and, up next they take Real Betis on in the Europa League round of 16 first leg. The Old Trafford outfit qualified for the round of 16 of the Europa League after defeating Barcelona in the knockout playoff.
