Neymar Jr wants to stay at Paris Saint-Germain and finish his career there despite being linked with a move away from the French club.
Neymar Jr has been playing for Paris Saint-Germain ever since signing for the club in 2017. The Brazilian left Barcelona to join Paris Saint-Germain as the Ligue 1 club made him the most expensive footballer in the world.
Neymar Jr has been linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain a number of times since. He has been linked with a return to Barcelona or a move to Premier League. There have also been suggestions PSG could look to part ways with Neymar after the end of the current campaign.
Paris Saint-Germain’s premature exit from UEFA Champions League 22/23 campaign has raised questions regarding the future of their star players. Like in the case of Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi, there is also speculation surrounding the future of Neymar.

But The Athletic reports that Neymar wants to stay at Paris Saint-Germain and finish his career at the French club. The Brazilian reportedly has a contract that runs until 2027 with PSG.
If Neymar stays at PSG until the end of his current contract, he will have spent a decade with the French heavyweights. The Athletic reports that Neymar looks set to remain at PSG beyond the end of the current campaign because the Brazilian wants to stay at the defending Ligue 1 champions.
The report adds that Neymar wishes to help Paris Saint-Germain achieve further success, particularly the European glory which has so far eluded the side from the French capital.
Meanwhile, it would take clubs a significant amount to prize Neymar away from Paris Saint-Germain given how much the French side spent to sign the Brazilian attacker from Barcelona.
Neymar is currently spending time on the sidelines after he picked up an injury during PSG’s Ligue 1 match against LOSC Lille in February. He has reportedly been ruled out of the remainder of the season.
Meanwhile, PSG sits atop the Ligue 1 table and will be aiming to defend the title this season. They have a 10-point lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table and are the favourites to win the title this season.
