Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has admitted that Jack Grealish has to score more goals for the club.
Manchester City took on Leeds United in an away fixture in their first Premier League game after the winter break, and the defending champions earned all three points from the fixture.
A goal on the stroke of halftime by Rodri and a second-half brace by Erling Haaland helped Manchester City cruise to a 3-1 win over Leeds United. But they would have won the game by a better margin had the likes of Jack Grealish been not wasteful in front of the goal.
Jack Grealish, however, assisted the two goals Erling Haaland scored in their win over Leeds United.

“He has to score more goals” – Pep Guardiola on Jack Grealish
Speaking after the match, Pep Guardiola admitted that Jack Grealish has to score more goals for Manchester City and that he has to be more ambitious.
“Grealish made two assists, he allowed us to give an extra pass when he had it,” Guardiola told Amazon Prime.
“With Riyad [Mahrez] and Jack the tempo was better, but he has to be more ambitious. He has to score more goals and be competitive because he has the quality to do it.”
Jack Grealish has only scored one goal for Manchester City in the ongoing 22/23 season. The England international has featured in 18 games across all competitions for Manchester City in the 22/23 season.
The only goal he has scored this season came in Manchester City’s 3-0 win over Wolves in the Premier League in September. He has not since scored a goal for the defending Premier League champions.
