Hakim Ziyech’s loan move to PSG from Chelsea collapsed on deadline day. The Paris outfit made a late approach to signing the Morocco international on loan for the rest of the season.
Hakim Ziyech has struggled to establish himself among the regulars at Stamford Bridge since joining from Ajax during the January transfer window of 2020. He has played 98 games(in all competitions) for the London outfit thus far, registering 14 goals and 11 assists. The 29-year-old midfielder has managed to start just four games in the league this term.
Hakim Ziyech’s potential transfer to PSG collapsed on deadline day as Chelsea failed to submit the necessary documents on time to complete the deal. However, according to journalist Ben Jacobs, the French club are set to appeal to the French League to conclude the transfer.
On his Twitter account, he wrote: “Bit more on Hakim Ziyech’s collapsed loan deal to PSG. Nothing will or can change tonight.
