Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are interested in signing Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele to replace Neymar in the future. Ousmane Dembele is one of the most talented attackers in Europe.
He joined the Blaugrana from Borussia Dortmund in the summer window of 2017. Dembele has played 172 games (in all competitions) for Barcelona so far, registering 38 goals and 41 assists. The 25-year-old attacker helped the Catalan club win two La Liga titles among other honours.
Ousmane Dembele was also part of the French squad that won the FIFA World Cup in 2018. He also featured in the FIFA World Cup 2022. The 25-year-old attacker played seven games in Qatar, registering two assists.
According to the Spanish publication SPORT(h/t Sportskeeda), PSG are monitoring Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele. The French club sees him as the perfect replacement for Neymar in the future.

The Parisians are prepared to activate his release clause of €50 million. However, Barcelona are looking to offer him a new contract after agreeing on an extension before the start of the season.
The France international has been in brilliant form this season. He has registered four goals and five assists in 15 La Liga games so far. Dembele also contributed one goal and two assists in six UEFA Champions League games prior to Blaugrana’s elimination.
PSG have a verbal agreement with Lionel Messi
According to Fabrizio Romano, PSG have reached a verbal agreement with Lionel Messi over a new deal. The Argentina international’s current contract at the Parc des Princess is set to expire at the end of the current season.
On his social media account, Romano posted: “Lionel Messi and Paris Saint-Germain have a verbal pact to continue together. There will be a new meeting with his camp to discuss the length of the contract, salary, and more. Nothing signed this week, no rush as the plan is already clear: Messi will continue in Paris.”
Lionel Messi joined the French outfit after leaving Barcelona last summer window. He has played 53 games (in all competitions) for the Parisians so far, registering 23 goals and 29 assists. The Argentina international helped the Paris outfit win the Ligue 1 title last season.

When will PSG play next?
PSG are scheduled to lock horns against Chateauroux FC in the French Cup round-of-64 tie on January 7. They will then lock horns against Angers in the league on January 12.
