Both Casemiro and Luka Modric were also impressive at FIFA World Cup for their respective nations.

On the right side of the midfield is Lionel Messi, who has been stellar for PSG and Argentina. After a rather underwhelming first season with PSG in the 21/22 season, Messi has looked back to his best in the ongoing 22/23 season. He was also key for Argentina as they lifted the FIFA World Cup 2022 title.
