Riyadh All-Star vs PSG: Cristiano Ronaldo was inadvertently punched in the face by his former Real Madrid teammate Keylor Navas during the Riyadh Season Cup match between Riyadh All-Star XI – which comprised of Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr players – and Paris Saint-Germain.
The Portuguese superstar made his debut in Saudi Arabia in the Riyadh All-Star vs PSG clash. Cristiano Ronaldo started for and captained Riyadh All-Star XI against Paris Saint-Germain.
The 37-year-old came up against a number of his former teammates, including Sergio Ramos and Keylor Navas. Both Sergio Ramos and Keylor Navas started the game for Paris Saint-Germain.
After Lionel Messi opened the scoring in the 3rd minute of the Riyadh All-Star vs PSG match, Cristiano Ronaldo equalized in the 34th minute of the match.

Riyadh All-Star vs PSG: Keylor Navas inadvertently punches Cristiano Ronaldo in the face

Cristiano Ronaldo scored the equalizer converting a penalty he himself had won. Ronaldo’s former teammate Keylor Navas inadvertently punched the Portuguese superstar inside the box when both players contested for an aerial ball. Neither won the ball, but Keylor Navas accidently punched Ronaldo in the face.
The referee deemed Keylor Navas to have committed a foul and pointed to the spot. Cristiano Ronaldo stepped up to take the kick and duly converted to make it 1-1 in the Riyadh All-Star vs PSG match.
Cristiano Ronaldo would go on to score another goal – his second of the match – after PSG took the lead again on the stroke of half-time. Marquinhos made it 2-1 for PSG in the 43rd minute of the match.
However, Cristiano Ronaldo scored his second goal of the match in the 45+6th minute to make it 2-2 in this Riyadh All-Star vs PSG match. The Portuguese superstar saw his header hit the post, but after Sergio Ramos failed to clear the rebound, Ronaldo fired from close range to restore parity for his side.
Cristiano Ronaldo, meanwhile, was withdrawn after the hour mark but the Portuguese made his mark during his time on the pitch in the match with two goals.
PSG would go on to win the game, defeating Riyadh All-Star 5-4 in the match. Lionel Messi, Marquinhos, Kylian Mbappe, Sergio Ramos and Hugo Ekitike all scored a goal each for PSG. Riyadh’s goal were contributed by Ronaldo, who bagged two, Talisca and Jang Hyun-soo.
