Riyadh All-Star vs PSG: Cristiano Ronaldo made his Saudi Arabian debut in grand style as the Portuguese superstar, featuring for Riyadh All-Star XI, scored two goals against Paris Saint-Germain in the Riyadh Season Cup. Although Riyadh All-Star XI slumped to a 5-4 defeat to PSG, Cristiano Ronaldo won the Man of the Match award.
The Portuguese superstar has joined Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr on a two-and-a-half-year contract which makes him the highest paid footballer in the world. The 37-year-old’s debut for Al-Nassr has been delayed because of the two-match ban English FA handed out to him for smashing a phone out of the hand of an Everton fan in April last year.
However, Cristiano Ronaldo made his debut in Saudi Arabia as he featured for Riyadh All-Star XI, comprising of Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr players, in the Riyadh Season Cup against Paris Saint-Germain.
Cristiano Ronaldo started for Riyadh All-Star XI and captained the side against the French heavyweights. After Lionel Messi opened the scoring in this Riyadh All Star vs PSG match in the third minute, Ronaldo equalized for his side in the 34th minute.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s first goal in the Riyadh All-Star XI vs PSG match came from a penalty the Portuguese superstar himself had won. PSG goalkeeper Keylor Navas was deemed to have fouled Ronaldo inside the box and the referee pointed to the spot.

After Marquinhos sent PSG ahead again in the 43rd minute of the match, Cristiano Ronaldo once again delivered and found the equalizer. His second goal in this Riyadh All-Star XI vs PSG match came in the 45+6th minute.
Ronaldo saw a header hit the upright, but Sergio Ramos failed to clear the rebound and CR7 pounced on the mistake to fire the ball home to make it 2-2.
Ronaldo was replaced in the 61st minute of the game when PSG were leading the match 4-3. For his performance in the game, Cristiano Ronaldo was named the man of the match.
The Portuguese icon certainly entertained the audience in Riyadh, and will now be gearing up for his debut for Al-Nassr.
Meanwhile, PSG would go on to score another goal to make it 5-3 before Talisca returned one in the injury time to reduce deficit to just one goal.
