Vinicius Jr believes Carlo Ancelotti wants to become the manager of Brazil’s national football team and has hailed the Italian tactician as the best coach he has had in his career.

Carlo Ancelotti has been linked with the role of Brazil’s national football team manager. Although Ancelotti, who is the current manager of Real Madrid, has denied such suggestions, he continues to be linked with the job of Brazil manager.

Brazil goalkeeper Ederson recently said there is a big possibility that Carlo Ancelotti will become the manager of the national team. Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Jr has now said he believes Ancelotti wants to become the Brazil manager.

Brazil are currently without a permanent manager after Tite stepped down from the position after FIFA World Cup 2022. Ramon Menezes, who is Brazil’s U20 manager, currently manages the Brazil senior team on an interim basis.

In an interview with Globo, Vinicius Jr said: “It’s a little difficult to talk about this subject. If I have him on the national team, I won’t have him in Real. And if I have him at Real, I won’t have him on the national team.

Ancelotti is the best coach I’ve had in my career. I always have a great affection for him and he for me. I know that not only here, but also at Real Madrid he will help me.

Vinicius Jr added: “I believe that all coaches would like to train our national team, it is a great group technically and within the group everyone is a family, there is no problem with anyone. I believe he wants to (be in the national team).

Carlo Ancelotti has denied suggestions he will become the next Brazil manager. He even recently revealed his impossible dream of staying at Real Madrid for the rest of his life.

Meanwhile, Brazil will take on Morocco in an international friendly in their upcoming game – their first after the quarter-final exit at FIFA World Cup 2022.

Casemiro is set to captain Brazil against Morocco, according to reports. It was Thiago Silva who captained Brazil at FIFA World Cup 2022. But the Chelsea defender is not part of the Brazil squad for the Morocco clash.
